Veterinary Science Teacher Workshops

Each year, the Veterinary Science Certificate Program provides Teacher-Training Workshops to assist teachers who would like to implement VSCP into their schools for their students as well as those teachers that have been at it for awhile. The Teacher-Training Workshops will train teachers to confidently administer the program.

Upon completion of the training, teachers will be better prepared to teach 200 of the classroom skills hours required for apprenticeship.  A minimum of 225 hours must be attained under the supervision of a veterinarian, registered veterinary technician, One Health and/or laboratory professional.
